Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood writer and actor who has received critical recognition for her talents. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina December 3, 1960. She's the eldest child of Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper, and Anne who is a psychology student. The Moore family has English and Scottish roots. Moore's dad moved around a lot because of his work. It was hard for her to find or maintain friendships. Moore began acting in plays as she travelled with her family members to Germany. The Boston University is where Moore graduated from her studies and earned an B.F.A. in 1983. Thesis in Theater. Moore began her career in theater off-Broadway at New York, after she graduated. In the episode The Edge of Night in 1985, Moore appeared in her first appearance on the screen. In 1986 she was given the dual role of Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes in the As the World Turns. It was this role that gave her the opportunity to break through and resulted in her success. In 1988, she played an actress on the show, and won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she was the first film actress to make her debut on cinema in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which she later called a terrible low-budget film. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. It was critically acclaimed, and Moore was nominated for multiple awards. Moore played her first main role in Safe(1995). The casting of Steven Spielberg's Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was one of the top grossing films of 1997, was a significant turning point for her career. The year 1999 was the first time she was awarded the SAG award for her work in Magnolia. The Hours was her co-starring role in 2002, and it won nine Academy Awards nominations along with Nicole Kidman. Moore has also starred in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. In 2014, she was in Non-Stop. Moore was a regular on many television and film shows. In the most recent, she appeared in the role of the main character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). In Hollywood, she has also established herself as a writer for children. Her first book Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007 and became one of the bestsellers on New York Times. best-seller, leading to it being made to a series as well as a musical. Additionally, in 2013, Moore wrote My Mother is a Stranger. Moore's private life was made public as a highly successful author and actress. Moore was married to John Robin back in 1984, and the couple divorced in 1996. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two children together. Moore's entire life revolves around friends, career and family.
